Noah Rost is a graduate student in the Department of Geography. Prior to his arrival in Madison, he attended Louisiana State University where he completed a Master of Arts degree in Geography. Building on some of the themes addressed in his thesis, his dissertation project explores the connections between national commemorative landscapes, social memory and national identity in the Republic of Croatia.
