Carmen Pitz

As IRIS NRC Assistant Director, Carmen Pitz helps support the mission of the Wisconsin Idea to create and run events for K-12+ educators for professional development and in support of the international and regional studies of their students. Prior to joining IRIS NRC, Carmen worked as the Assistant Director for Study Abroad Advising at International Academic Programs (IAP) at UW-Madison and as an International Program Coordinator in the Study Abroad Office at Arizona State University. She is additionally motivated in her outreach work due to her 13 years of teaching Spanish in Wisconsin.
