Mike Dawes

Mike Dawes is a rising Sophomore at UW Madison. He is majoring in Psychology and is planning to complete a certificate in Middle East studies. Following graduation, he hopes to get involved in international humanitarian work in Türkiye, where he has family roots. He plans to study abroad in Türkiye and earn internship opportunities in İstanbul.  The FLAS scholarship gives him the opportunity to develop area studies expertise that will be crucial for achieving these goals.
