Join Dr. Reut Paz of the Justus-Liebig University, Giessen, Germany, for a discussion on “Shared Values, Distinct Roles: The Council of Europe & the European Union.” This event is part of the speaker series, “International Organizations and You.” Dr. Paz is a visiting professor at UW Law School. She specializes in international law, European law, international relations and legal history. Together with Professor Thilo Marauhn, Dr. Paz initiated the project “Seeing Antisemitism Through Law: High Promises or Indeterminancies?” (SATL) and the BMBF project entitled, “Struggling for Justice – Antisemitismus als justizielle Herausforderung,” at Faculty of Law, Justus-Liebig Univeristy, Giessen.
