Dr. Eric Miller is a senior career intelligence officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), where he leads open-source intelligence (OSINT) policy, tradecraft, and integration efforts. He previously served in senior intelligence roles at U.S. Africa Command — including as Assistant Director of Intelligence for Analysis — and on the President’s Daily Brief staff as its only non-CIA editor. His career spans leadership in political-military analysis, major intelligence assessments, and work in academia and defense policy. A published scholar on U.S. and Russian security issues, Dr. Miller holds a Ph.D. in International Studies, a master’s from the National War College, and multiple awards for analytic excellence.
