Registration is open for the
IRIS Global Children’s Literature Book Fair:
Award-Winning and Outstanding Global Children’s Literature
Join us online to learn more about award-winning and outstanding global and Indigenous children’s literature.
The fair will consist of two panels:
3:30-4:15 pm Outstanding global children’s literature
Madeline Tyner and Megan Schliesman
Librarians, Cooperative Children’s Book Center (CCBC), School of Education, UW-Madison
4:15-5:00 pm Award-winning Indigenous children’s literature
Dr. Lauren Waukau-Villagomez, Teacher Education Faculty, College of Menominee Nation
Dr. Debbie Reese, Founder of American Indians in Children’s Literature
The first 30 Wisconsin public school educators who register for this event will receive two book titles based on grade level!
Please note: Titles will be announced at the fair and books will be mailed after the event.
