The UW-Madison Fulbright Coordinator will be hosting an information session on October 29 for graduate students interested in learning more about the Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Program, and getting a jump start on their applications for the 2025 competition! Be sure to stop by to learn more about how best to get started planning, drafting, and connecting with research partners in-country early if you are interested in pursuing a DDRA as soon as the 2025 competition opens.
The Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. It provides opportunities to doctoral candidates to engage in full-time dissertation research abroad utilizing modern foreign languages and area studies expertise across disciplines. You must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident of the United States to apply.
More information on the DDRA can be found on the UW-Madison Fulbright website, and you can learn more about UW-Madison’s four 2024 Fulbright-Hays DDRA recipients here!
