The Department of Educational Policy Studies (EPS) at UW-Madison will be hosting it’s annual conference on March 8th, 2024 in room 159 in the Education Building. This year’s theme, Advocacy, Education Policy, and Social Transformation will center on questions of how marginalized learners contest unequal power structures in the education system through advocacy and policy efforts, and the ever changing landscape of education.
The event will run from 8:45am-5:00pm. Registration is free and open to all but required to attend. You can register above. The schedule for this year’s event is below.

- Roundtables: Attendees choose to join a roundtable with a topic of interest to them. The discussant at each table will briefly introduce their chosen idea, issue, or theme, and then offer questions to spark spirited and creative discussion.
- Panel: The panelists will each present their work and then engage one another and the audience in conversation.
