Enjoy an authentic dinner followed by a panel discussion on Iran’s cuisine, ethnic and regional diversity, and Iranian-American perspectives on growing up in Madison and the Midwest.
The United Nations Association of Dane County welcomes community members to experience a traditional Iranian meal and explore the diversity of Iranian culture. Following the meal, a panel will focus on the Iranian-American experience in Madison and the multiplicity of Iranian ethnic groups, regions, and religions. Jewish Iranian-American Laila Borokhim will design the menu and introduce the meal.
Doors open at 5:30 pm; dinner served at 6:00 pm.
Cost: $40 | $20 students
