
2026 Annual Student-Faculty Conference on Peace and Conflict Studies: “From DEFENSE to WAR: New Challenges to Global Peacebuilding”
Edgewood University and the Wisconsin Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies invite students, academics, and activists to submit proposals for papers, presentations, posters, roundtable discussions, artistic products, and/or performances for a one-day conference at the Edgewood University campus in Madison, Wisconsin.
Those who wish to participate are encouraged to submit a 1-2 page proposal for papers, presentations, posters, roundtable discussions, or artistic products or performances. Topics may include (but are not limited to) the challenges of mass migration, the potential for resource-motivated military interventions, and the disparate effect of environmental challenges in a post-colonial world.
Deadline to submit is Friday, March 6, 2026!
