Dr. Frances Vavrus, Vice Provost and Dean of the International Division, University of Wisconsin- Madison will be in Washington DC in November as a guest of the US Department of Education. Dean Vavrus will be speaking at and moderating an in-person panel “Raise the Bar: Advancing Careers through Multilingual Education.” The November 15th panel will mark International Education Week 2023 and will feature five alumni from various International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) programs, including recipients of the Title VI FLAS fellowship, the Fulbright-Hays DDRA fellowship, and the Fulbright-Hays GPA program.
